Pakistan National Cricket Team pacer Shaheen Afridi and South Africa National Cricket Team batter Matthew Breetzke engaged in a massive fight during the third match of the tri-series. The game between the two teams is taking place at the National Stadium in Karachi.
Afridi and Breetzke are having a decent outing for their respective teams in the ongoing game. Both the players have stepped up for their team in what is the crucial game in the context of the series for two teams, with New Zealand already making it into the final.
With the final on the line, the intensity between the players has been very high as well. This was evident when Afridi and Matthew Breetzke got involved in a huge fight, and it stopped the play, with the crowd too getting involved with the cheers from the stands.
It happened during the 5th ball of the 28th over when Shaheen Afridi had a word with Matthew Breetzke. The Pakistan National Cricket Team pacer didn’t look happy with the South Africa National Cricket Team batter taking a start for the run in the middle of the pitch.
Both the batters shared some words but things got worse on the next ball. After Matthew Breetzke flicked the delivery from pacer to deep square leg, the duo got engaged in the heated exchange after the single was completed.
When Breetzke ran across for the single, he tried to avoid colliding into Shaheen Afridi but still barged into him. This didn’t go well with the Pakistan National Cricket Team pacer, and things looked very serious.
This saw umpires separating the players before skippers of both teams in Temba Bavuma and Mohammad Rizwan also stepped in. Khushdil Shah also came across and pushed the South Africa National Cricket Team batter back to stop the fight.

Afridi has been bowling well in the game as in the first 7 overs that he bowled, he picked one wicket and gave away 34 runs. He would be hoping to finish on high and help his team restrict the opposition to low the total to under 300.
On the other hand, Breetzke, who slammed 150 on his debut, continued his golden form and has slammed a half-century. With the way he is batting, he looks set for another ton. Apart from him, Temba Bavuma, who opened the innings, played a vital hand of 52 runs. The onus will now be on Heinrich Klaasen and Breetzke to take their team to the big total.
