SRH struggles after strong start against LSG

LSG won the toss and opted to field first at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium. SRH got off to a brisk start, reaching 62/2 in the powerplay despite losing Abhishek Sharma and Ishan Kishan in quick succession to Shardul Thakur. Head led the charge with a fluent 47 off 28 balls before falling to Prince. Nitish Kumar Reddy and Heinrich Klaasen attempted to rebuild, but LSG kept striking at regular intervals. Aniket Verma provided late fireworks with a 13-ball 36, smashing five sixes, but Thakur’s three-wicket haul ensured SRH couldn’t fully capitalize.
